Hi my name is Amanda and i love dogs. I have had so much experience raising pugs in my family. My extended family grew up with dogs as well so I have a history and a love for animals in general. Throughout the years, friends have adopted a variety of different dogs which makes me more knowledgeable about different breeds and how they react differently in situatuions. I have a few years experience watching coworker's and friend’s dogs when they go on vacation. I love spending as much time with them as possible. I follow the owners instructions and keep them busy as much as i can. I am aspiring to be an optometrist so I find time in my schedule to study where I housesit and make time for the animals.

I do like meeting the dog in a neutral environment so the dog doesnt feel overwhelmed in their own home about metting a stranger for the first time. I generally appreciate the animals to be house broken, but its not a problem if they arent. I dont have a breed preference, but I do ask if the dog has any problem being alone or isnt friendly to strangers to let me know ahead of time.
A typical day
I started watching a coworker's dogs a couple years ago when they go on vacation. I absolutely love spending as much time with them as possible. I follow the owners instructions and keep them busy. I'll usually walk them at least twice depending on my schedule and play in between. So far in my experience, I have watched a 5year old English Bulldog, a 10 year old miniature chihuahua, 4year old chocolate labs, 1 year old kittens, 2yr old Great Dane, a 10 year old Golden Retriever, and a 10yr old Pit Lab.
