Pet care experience
Instead of thinking of myself as a pet sitter, I consider it going to see a friend. I like to be there for my friends when they need me because they are there for me when I need them. I have grown up with dogs all my life. A few different breeds and sizes, but mainly dachshunds. When I was a teen, I worked for a grooming salon as a bather and also had other responsibilities as well such as nail trims, brushing and deshedding, as well as anal expressions. So I'm familiar with all aspects of dog care. I have been working with dogs and their owners for 10+ years now and am completely in love with what I do! It's my pleasure to make sure that your dog feels very at home with me. I'm passionate about providing great care for both my canine and human clients. I'll make sure your dog feels safe and happy, and I'll make sure that you can have peace of mind on your trip knowing your dog is in good hands. They'll be a member of my family!

Amanda checked in on our puppy while we were at work for a week and she was great! She was super informative about everything that happened to Judd while she was there and was so sweet to our puppy. If we ever need another drop in during the week I will definitely be reaching out to her!

A typical day
I usually take the pups for a walk right when I get home so they can get the exercise they need or I would take them to my local dog park. Worst case scenario, we're stuck in the backyard for some fetch. After that we would watch some movies or play some games and just hang out until dinner time. My house has a nice, wide, open floor plan, so it has plenty of room to romp around in. The backyard is fairly large and is fenced in so your wouldn't be able to explore the neighborhood without my knowledge, and it is littered with lots of doggie toys to keep her occupied. Our neighborhood is paved with wider sidewalks to attract local joggers and cyclists. I see a lot of other people walking their dogs all throughout the day, so there may even be a chance for her to get to know some new dogs! I live with my wife, Marisa. She is home 24/7 doing schooling online. While I'm away Marisa will be the primary caregiver for any and all pets that are under my care. She loves dogs just as much as I do if not more.
