Doggone Excited to Watch your Pup!
Pet care experience
We come from a family of dog-lovers and welcome any dogs into our home. I am working from home fulltime, so I will be there to cuddle with your pup all day and night! My husband is very active and he usually spends evenings taking the pups on long walks/runs. We have two wonderful little pomeranian puppies that will be best of friends with your pup. Our older pupper is excited when meeting new dogs, and loves to run around the yard, so if your pup loves to play, they will get along great! Dropoff and Pick-up hours are completely flexible, so just let us know what works for you! Check out my puppies on Instagram: @wolfgangandkiba •••••> Returning clients: please send me a message about the dates you need if they fall on my unavailable dates. I always love seeing my doggy friends again so I may be able to accommodate you depending on dates and length of stay! - I have a lot of toys! Please leave your own toys at home, because my dogs will likely destroy them. - I have extra dog bowls, you can leave yours at home for ease of packing - You are welcome to bring your dog's favorite treats if you'd like, or I do have high quality made in the USA treats available. Your little one will enjoy all our home has to offer and we will make sure they feel like one of our own! We are so excited to watch your dog! At around 6/7 AM my husband usually gets up with the dogs. If we have a dog over who eats breakfast, he feeds them breakfast and lets all dogs out potty. When he leaves around 7:30, the dogs come back to bed to snuggle with me until I get up around 9. The dogs go potty again, and my workday begins. The day is filled with random potty breaks, stretches, and runs around the yard. At lunch I take time to give the dogs a ton of love and affection and maybe even a treat or 2. At around 4 PM my husband gets home and takes the dogs on a long walk by the lake. When I get off at around 6 PM we all have dinner and then play in the yard or in the living room depending on the weather. We end the night with lots of snuggles on the couch. Here are some of our House Rules: Our dogs will never be left alone with your dogs unsupervised. Safety is the top priority, and even if our dogs seem to get along we always want to make sure human is in the room with them to play it safe. Our dogs will never be fed in the same room together. Dogs are still animals, and although I trust my dogs completely, I still want to make sure that we set all dogs up for success. So, all dogs will be separated during feeding time. All bones will only be used during times that the animals are separated. You are welcome to send bones/rawhides/chews will your pupper, however to make sure everyone is happy and remains happy throughout the experience, we separate our dog during this time period. Either, my dogs will be in the basement with my husband and I'll stay up here with your dog while your dog has a bone. Or, if your dog is crate trained and comfortable in the crate, your dog will chew their bone in the crate during quiet hours. We NEVER allow unsupervised chewing, I get very anxious about bones becoming choking hazzards.
Reviews
Oliver always has a great time! He loves being spoiled at Amanda’s!
Oliver says thank you for everything and he had a great time! ♥️🐾
Would highly recommend Amanda! She took the time to do a formal meet and greet in her yard so that we knew our pups got along okay and our puppy loved his boarding stay at her house for a few days. We loved getting photo and video updates. Communication was great! Amanda is a huge help for us and we would be repeat customers :)
Oliver always loves his “slumber parties” at Amanda’s!

I think it's really important to know if your dog is comfortable with little dogs. I have 2 little dogs, and they are very accepting of dogs of all sizes. However, I do know some larger dogs have a very strong prey drive. To make sure that my dogs remain safe, please let me know if your dogs are not comfortable with small dogs. I truly believe in setting dogs up for success. This means that if your dog has any sort of bad habits, it's always best to just let us know! This can include if they like to chew on furniture, if they have a tendency to have accidents in the house, if they pee when they get excited, if they have a tendency to mouth when they play, etc. Having that information of header time is always helpful to make sure that your dog is happy throughout their stay and that we can prepare for anything that might come up.
A typical day
Living about a quarter mile away from the lake, your dog can enjoy strolls by the water front. My husband is very active, going on long runs/walks each day. With a large yard, your dog will enjoy running and jumping around.
