I'm am a mother of 2 and a foster mother of 1! I feel communication is key so I will either leave a note or text about how our visit went. When I first meet the dog I want them to feel comfortable with me so I will usually greet them with a treat and once they are comfortable I will give them lots of love! Most dogs have little bladders so we'll go outside to potty or do our walk first unless its a preference of the owner to have them eat first. Once they've had some fresh air we will come back in for some water and more love. I also have plenty of experience giving dogs medications ranging from pills to liquids to even insulin and would feel comfortable doing that as well if needed.
