I adopted my first dog 15 years ago as an adult and also had dogs growing up. Years later, I began fostering dogs with Tallahassee Big Dog Rescue. I now have 2 dogs of my own (15 and 13, terriers) and have rescued over 25 dogs in 6 years. I have experience with all types of breeds and all types of personalities including dogs with high energy, separation anxiety, resource guarding, shyness, and dominance behaviors (to name a few). I also have experience providing medical care and have relationships with several veterinarians in town. I am a strong proponent of the humane treatment of animals and will care for your pet as it is my own. I work from home so I will be with your pet most of the day and night. I live in a 2200 sq ft home with a large fenced-in privacy backyard. Our dogs have access to the backyard 24/7 via a doggy door. We also live very close to the J Alford Greenway where your dog can enjoy walks with our family. I have a 6yo son with plenty of energy, who also loves animals.
