My name is Amanda, I’m 28 years old and live with my husband in Annandale. We have a 4 y/o French Bulldog Hazel, who loves anything and everything that’s alive. I have always been an animal lover, spending time with animals is like therapy for me. Even when I was working 50+ hour work weeks I still found time to dog/cat sit in my spare time. Now that my work schedule has opened up, I am able to share the same love and care that I give to my little babe to yours. Our house is fully dog proof with more toys and beds than a pup could ask for. Our basement can be used as a playroom on cold or rainy days and our back yard is fenced in with tons of room to run around! I keep my house very clean, I do not live in a dog boarding facility...this is my home. I would NOT drop my dog off at a dirty house that seemed uncared for so I definitely wouldn't expect that from anyone else either. I typically only accept 1 dog at a time but in some instances such as short over laps or urgent situations (for my friends/family) I will accept an additional dog, and in those cases I have a system where no 2 dogs will ever be left unattended together for any amount of time whether they are crate trained or not. I have this system in place because dogs can be unpredictable, however that does NOT mean I accept dogs into my home who do not get along with other dogs. You must bring your dog over for a meet and greet first to make sure everyone is compatible and on the same page. I will work with little tendencies such as (but not limited to) food and toy aggression but any other unprovoked aggression will NOT be tolerated so please keep that in mind before contacting me about a stay. I always send out a form to anyone who books with me that asks in depth questions about your dogs behavior, daily habits and routine. Please be as honest as possible in order for everyone to have a good experience. If your dog is not potty trained please book under my puppy rate regardless of age.
