Pet care experience
My husband Joe and I grew up with dogs our entire lives and have experience with small, large, young and old dogs alike. We believe dogs should be treated like family (yes, that means they get the best seat on the couch). Our training and caring style is positive and playful. We are an active couple and our hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, skiing, reading, photography, brewery hopping, and cooking. We believe dogs need good exercise and lots of love to live a happy life. We do not currently have a dog of our own and we miss having one around, which means that we have lots of love to give to your pup. We can't wait to meet your furry friend!

Amanda and Joe were the best! While we were in vacation for a week, they gave our sensitive pup plenty of love and attention. They walked her regularly and sent updates. Our dog enjoyed her stay so much, I don't think she wanted to leave them!
Amanda and Joe were amazing!! This is our first time ever boarding and my pup was completely on vacation at their home. Their communication was exceptional and I love the photos I received of her, it made her time away easier for us. We will definitely be boarding with them again! Thank you Joe and Amanda!
We left our dog Bonnie with Amanda for a week and I was so impressed! This was the first time leaving Bonnie with someone I didn’t know and Amanda was the perfect person to leave her with! I got pictures of Bonnie and reports of how she was doing. I felt so at ease leaving Bonnie with Amanda and will definitely be using her again!
Amanda and Joe were great. Took great care of Leo. Great fenced in yard where he can roam and a lot of attention.

Is your dog house trained? Are they vocal? How are they with other dogs (on and off leash)? Are you comfortable with me taking them to a dog park (when boarding)? Do they like to swim? Are they notorious for chewing up shoes, remotes, getting into the trash/recycling, etc.?
A typical day
We live in a quiet neighborhood great for walks and we love a good game of fetch. We are comfortable practicing tricks you may have already taught your dog. Feel free to show us your commands and we’ll be happy to work them into my time with your pup.
