â–¶COVID UPDATE: I do travel with my personal mask and hand sanitizer I do work a part time job in the evenings therefore my availability is only between 9am to 2pm. Hello, my name is Amalia and I currently live in Humble TX. I own a 9yr old chihuahua corgi mix named Ricky who I adopted. I have over 8 years of experience working with animals in various environments ranging between kennel technician for a pet store to private pet sitter. Growing up, I owned a variety of animals from birds, iguanas, ferrets and of course DOGS! I began walking dogs for my neighbors when I was in middle school and started doing house visits and boarding for dogs, cats and other types of animals once I started high school. I can gladly accommodate drop in visits to other animals that are not cats or dogs. Dogs and cats with medical issues and special needs are more than welcome! Grooming can be arranged during drop-ins without extra charge but is included in the 30min time period. I hope to give both you and your fur baby the best pet-sitter experience!

Our cat was well cared for and doted on! her littler box was kept up and her water bowl fresh! We didn't feel guilty for leaving her so long because she was in loving hands.
Amalia was great with our bulldogs for drop-in visits over one weekend. She played with them and even cleaned up their messes while we were gone. I would recommend anyone to use her. She works everyday with dogs, so she loves to care for any type of dog. She’s reliable and will take good care of your animals.
Amalia checked in on my cat for a week while I was out of town. She sent photos and updates each day, letting me know the kitty was eating and using the litter box regularly. I don't have the most sociable cat, and I was worried she would be stressed about spending a week with a sitter, but when I got home, she seemed perfectly content.
Amalia has been amazing! Our dog has been happier after having is regular walks with Amalia! She provides frequent updates and pictures that let me know my fur baby is doing good!

Same goes for cats and any other types of pets included in the stay.
A typical day
While I'm out on a walk with your dog(s), I do travel with poop bags, water and water bowls. I do not bring my own treats due to allergies and diets. I can bring some along if they are provided for your dog already. While I'm with your pet(s) at home, free grooming can be arranged during the stay/drop-in. I only do fur brushing and bathing/showering. I do not trim nails or brush teeth for the safety of both me and the animal.
