There’s nothing like having a dog in your life! They’re always there for us and do everything they can to make us happy. Dogs always have a giving spirit about them, which has always inspired me to do everything I can do help dogs thrive. That’s why being a dog sitter is a dream come true for me! I love spending time with pups, and it’s great to help owners out as well. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend. I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! One of the best things about me is that I work from home. I am a Mental Health Coach, but doing this from home gives me tons of flexibility when working with pups. I am a great fit for dogs that are used to having a human presence around them during the day. I also have a 6-year-old male Border Collie who will be happy to bring new friends into the mix! No matter what, there will always be tons of fun around these parts. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that communication is one of the most important aspects of any booking. It can be very difficult to be away from your best friend, so part of my job is to make you feel like you never left in the first place. To that end, I’m happy to take copious notes on anything you need to be kept in the loop on. From meal prep to exercise times, I’m happy to keep a watchful eye on your pup when they’re under my wing. Of course, every detailed update will come replete with a few great pictures of us having fun together!
