Who I Am: Nice to meet you! My name is Alyx. I have a passion for all animals and aim to help them in any way I can. I’m looking for opportunities to simply fulfill that passion, and helping you along the way makes it all the more worthwhile. History and Services: I have lived with dogs for my entire life. I raised and cared for my beloved dog of 15 years, until he recently passed in January. I am experienced in potty training, administering medications, and paying close attention for any abnormalities in physicality or behavior. In addition, anxious, timid, or high-energy pets are no problem for me. I understand that each pet has their own personality and individual needs, and I can’t wait to meet them!

Second time have had Alyx watch Nims the cat, first time for 2 weeks then most recently for a week. Love working with her, she takes great care of Nims with awesome daily updates/ pictures, and helps with litter box. This most recent time we had her check on Nims daily for an hour instead of 30 min visits because Nims likes to hang out with Alyx and play. Cannot recommend Alyx enough!

Alyx is amazing! We went out of the country for 2 weeks and that’s just too long to ask for help and no way is Nims ( our cat ) being placed in the vets boarding, I did that once, and it took weeks for Nims to get her personality back, so we turned to Rover and found Alyx. She is so responsible and nice and took excellent care of Nims (once a day for 2 weeks). She played with Nims and really did a great job keeping the litter box in great shape. Nims has zero short term personality erasures this time around, and is as happy as the day we left her. Will def. seek out Alyx always. The daily photos and report cards were amazing and piece of mind. She kept the water, food and snacks going to Nims approval. She’s a great person and really knows her stuff.

Please let me know if your pet has any special quirks that I should look out for. Things to include would be: allergies, behavior around other people/animals, any aggressions, behavior with food, quirky habits, separation anxiety, etc.. The more I know, the better!
A typical day
A Typical Visit: We can do anything your pup desires! I have the energy for a nice run, a long walk, or a patient stroll. I am also in close proximity to a large park with a lake, a dog park, and open fields.

Schedule: I am available full time! Whether it’s an early morning walk, a mid-day medication dose, or late night check-in, I am willing to be as flexible as possible to cater to your pet(s).
