I have a mutt rescue, who in my opinion, is the most adorable creature in the world/love of my life. However, being a rescue comes with it's difficulties. Wrigley is an extremely skiddish dog and is a "stage 5 clinger" when it comes to me. I'm always reluctant to leave her. Alyx is a very responsible and considerate when caring for our dog, Louis, and watching over the house while we were traveling, recently. What Alyx would like to know about your dog
Does it take time for your dog to warm up to new humans (for example, me)? Are there any tips or tricks to make them comfortable or more trusting?
Does your dog have any negative behaviors (accidents, chewing on socks, going through trash bins, etc.), and if so, how do you prefer to correct them?
How does your dog get along with other dogs? Are they afraid, calm, excited or aggressive when they see or meet new dogs on walks, at parks, etc.?
