BACKGROUND: I’m a mostly stay-at-home mom with two German Shepherd mix rescues: Xena and Loki. I’m also a firefighter in the Air Force Reserves, and my husband who helps me out from time to time sells solar for his day job and is in the Marine Corps Reserves. We also have a baby in the house who absolutely loves dogs. EXPERIENCE: Around my military schedule, I’ve been working with Rover since October 2018, and every new booking is a new experience! Raised around countless types of animals, pets are my passion. AVAILABILITY: As a professional stay-at-home mom, my schedule is very open and flexible! If I’m feeding/walking your fur-baby, I’ll make sure he/she feels so loved while I’m there that they don’t even notice you’re away! If boarded with me, your fur-baby will be cared for like my own child. He/she will have: - 24-hour doggie door access to a fenced yard (or frequent potty breaks for those who think the doggie door is scary) - two playful German Shepherd mix friends (or plenty of space to his/herself in our 1600sqft home if he/she doesn’t want to make new friends) - a LARGE park just a ten-minute walk from the house - LOTS of attention, cuddles, toys, and exercise his/her entire stay - LOTS of candid portrait photos as both updates and to cherish Take a load off, let me care for your doggo or kitty cat! In our home, we have a fenced yard with turf and a doggie door for 24-hour access. Fresh, unlimited RO water is available both outside and inside. We do have custom built large crates for our German Shepherd mixes that can be used if your doggo needs to be kenneled (our Xena does not require a crate, so hers can be utilized as a “guest crate”). We also have three bedrooms, with a master bedroom access to the backyard in case the dogs are having a bad day and need to be separated. Plenty of stuffed toys, hard toys, and tennis balls are available for easy 24-hour access. Our house has a separate, fenced off baby area, with the area accessible to the dogs pretty much puppy-proofed.

No breed preference. Please let me know if your dog is spayed/neutered, gets along with children, and if they are up-to-date on their vaccinations—not a deal breaker, just so I’m aware of the information. Meet & greets in advance are recommended, but not required.
A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood and to the LARGE park down the street. I have plenty of toys and treats and tennis balls available for use. I also have two stay in friends for socializing and playing. Your fur-baby will receive too much attention and too many cuddles!
