Pet care experience
Growing up with dogs was a huge part of my childhood. My fur babies are family. Now that I am on my own, I have four cats that I absolutely adore, but my complex does not allow dogs; and I miss that joy in my life. Outside of the 20 years experience with my own pets growing up, I have 10 years experience in pet sitting for others. I have been the pet/home sitter for a family with two adorable yellow labs since 2008. I have no problem administering oral/topical medications, vet visits if needed, providing daily exercise, and bathing if necessary. All while sending regular photo updates of course! I am sensitive to the routines that pets may have, which is why I prefer to pet sit in your home. I work full time, M-F, day shift. If you don’t need an over night sitter, I am available for walks and drop-ins as well! Every moment your animal spends with me, they will be treated as my own- like family. If you want your fur babies to be treated with respect and overflowing love, Alyssa is your girl! Her love for animals is no different than her love for humans. She actually may love animals a tad bit more! Alyssa will care for your doggies and make sure they will not go without! Stop looking elsewhere, She is definitely your girl!
Alyssa has dog/house set many times for our two 10 year old yellow labs. I feel like she treats them as if they were her own. They love her and we come home to very happy dogs! I had a very bad experience with a previous dog/house sitter and was very nervous about leaving them again, but I am now always comfortable leaving them with Alyssa. She keeps us updated on them and sends many pictures. She also has the house clean and tidy when we return, just like we left it. I will never use anyone else to watch my dogs as long as she is available!
If you need someone to care for your animals like you would, then your search is over. Alyssa is extremely professional and authentic. She sent pictures and videos daily multiple times which helped me cope with not having them on vacation with my girlfriend and I. We went to Hawaii for 8 day’s and there isn’t a single soul I’d rather have watching my Home and animals than Alyssa. She did laundry, vacuumed the house and walked straight into our hearts! I had reservations with using this service and if you do too like I said fear no more. Alyssa is the most genuine person I’ve ever met... when we got home I could tell our babies had had fun!! We have a 100lb 6yr old German Shepherd and a 16yr old grey tabby cat. Alyssa gave them both their daily joint supplement and she was also very well with administering our cats thyroid medicine (which required a veterened skill set to accomplish!) A typical day
There are multiple parks in the area. My favorite being the brand new Broad Run Park. Tons of walking trails and if it gets too hot we can take a walk through the splash park! If I am house sitting somewhere other than my area I will gladly find a park nearby or roam the homes neighborhood if possible.
