Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs most of my life. I currently have 2, one is 1.5 years and the other is 6. I take the time to train my own dogs and leash train as well. I am keen on making sure that dogs are well taken care of, and healthy. They do get some extra treats sometimes. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I make sure to teach my dogs to not be food aggressive and to ensure that they know how to meet new dogs as well. I have 2 dogs, a Pitbull-foxhound rescue that is 1.5 years old and a 6-year-old, Lab-mix rescue. They are very friendly with other dogs and love to play. I have a fenced-in backyard along. My dogs are spoiled, they are allowed on the furniture but not allowed to put paws on tables or counters. They have a schedule along with some extended outside non-potty time. I try to take them on walks when it's not too hot and not raining. They have "chew time" to make sure that they are active with their minds and help their breath. I will make sure to follow any set of rules that you set for your pet. I am able to crate as long as one is provided. I use mine for my puppy but my older dog is fine without it.

Alyssa is always such a wonderful communicator and so very helpful! My dog loves to visit her and is so comfortable around her and her husband. Alyssa’s home is clean and she sends thorough updates. I highly recommend her!
Alyssa was amazing with our 9mo old girl, Charlie. We did a meet and greet the day before her daycare apt, and it went better than I could have expected. Her dogs took to Charlie really well after supervised sniffing, and from there it was smooth sailing. I am in town from AR visiting my parents, and even though I WFH I don't have the ability to give her the playtime she needs as a growing pup throughout the day. Back in Arkansas she has a doggy care she loves, so I wanted someone with other pups she could play with. I found the right person with Alyssa ? During our meet and greet Charlie got to sniff and explore the backyard, as well as the inside of the house. It's definitely a safe space for dogs to play, sleep, eat (Alyssa has elevated eating/drinking spots for larger breeds like Charlie), and there's a huge window for the pups to watch people and animals throughout the day. Animals are allowed on the furniture, which is great for Charlie (but Alyssa will also follow your rules about furniture, which she asked me about first hand). Next time I am in town, Alyssa will be my sitter of choice!! Communication from the initial request up until the end of the daycare day was top-notch, and I would reccomend her to anyone with boarding or daycare needs.
Alyssa was great! She took great care of Remy and had lots of play time. Her backyard is GREAT for my energetic dog. Alyssa was very easy to reach via text. She sent me pictures every day or so to let me know how Remy was doing. I even got a really cute picture of Remy cuddling with her dog Griffin. So yes, Remy clearly had a great time at her home away from home.

I have a fenced-in yard and two pups to make sure we have plenty of playtimes and outside time. I have extra crates and bowls just in case and I can easily separate fur babies if needed. My house is completely maintained; everything doggies can get to is put up and removed.

A typical day
I love to have outside and play-time. We also have "chew time" to stimulate their chewing need along with some fresh breath. I go on walks when the weather is nice and depending on what type of coat your dog has. I provide my dogs at least one hour every day of exercise.

Availability
I work from home throughout the week and am usually free on the weekend minus events every so often. I am available for pick-ups and drop-offs usually after 3 pm but on Fridays, it would be around noon. I make sure that my schedule is always up to date to ensure correct booking.
