I took a two year veterinary science course in high school that included, but not limited to, hands on practice with dog walking/exercising, grooming, clean up, and general care for dogs. I have also volunteered multiple times at local dog adoption events where responsibilities included dog walking and care/cleanup throughout the event. I’m also an animal science major in college currently on a pre-vet track with an emphasis on companion animals like dogs and cats!
