Pet care experience
I have never met a dog I didn't love! Currently I have two pups of my own, and both are deaf, giving me unique experience. One is a Boxer and the other a Great Pyrenees/Dalmatian mix, so if I can walk them together I can do anything! They have been taught hand signals for communication and training. I have experience with older dogs with medical needs as well. To me, dogs are people, so I like to approach them as unique individuals and learn how they can live to their fullest potential. Positive reinforcement, always! I would love to become best friends with your fur baby too! **I typically can’t do true house sitting because I can’t miss snuggles at night with my own pups. For my house sitting rate, I come and do frequent extended visits to the home (3-4 visits for 2-3 hour hours depending on individual needs) to make sure your fur babies have meals, plenty of play time, and even more cuddles ❤️?**

We used Alyssa to watch our 3 pups while we were out of town for the weekend and she was fantastic! She gave them plenty of love while we were away and kept us updated on how there were doing on every visit. We definitely recommend using her as we will be using her again in the future.
She was super nice, and good with my pups!
Alyssa understood our overall needs (energetic younger dog and sedate geriatric older dog) and came by periodically as needed to make sure they were both happy, safe and loved. We will certainly request her help in the future.
Alyssa was amazing with our two large golden retrievers and our cat! She obviously has a love of animals, and we will definitely be booking her again! Great updates and communication, and lots of pictures of our pups while we were away!

I would like to know about the dog's personality and anything to avoid while sitting him or her. I would also like to know some of the dog's favorite treats and toys and if he or she is food or toy motivated. I prefer all the dogs, but do tend to interact with larger ones most.
A typical day
I like to walk dogs where they feel most comfortable, whether it be around the neighborhood or a park trail. Every pup is unique so I would want to ask what they are comfortable with first. Besides walking, I am always up for catch, tug of war, hide and seek- whatever your pup’s favorite it!
