Pet care experience
I am currently a student at Tarleton State University. I am studying Wildlife Sustainability and Ecosystem Sciences. I've taken care of horses, deer fawn, adult deer, and I currently have two pets of my own. I understand the worries of leaving your pet home alone when you have to work a 12 hour day knowing they need to go to the bathroom. I know what it is like wanting to go on a much needed vacation but then worrying about what to do with your pet. I also understand leaving your pet with someone you don't know can be very stressful, but I can promise you they will feel just as loved and cared for as if you were still home. If your pet needs medication, exercising, special needs, or to just be let out during the day while you are not there I will take care of them.

Alyssa was awesome. She sent us pictures all through and even did a pick up and drop. Our dog looks happy. Totally delighted with service and look forward to book again.
I felt very good about my dogs stay with Alyssa while we were gone. Alyssa kept us up to date with pictures and how our dog was doing in a new environment. I would love to use her again when we are away.
When I met Alyssa in advance of the stay, she was personable and seemed to be responsible. We agreed on the drop off date, time, length of stay and time for pick up. Our first problem arose when we called to arrange drop off, Alyssa then advised that she was not available at 9AM as previously agreed. She said she would not be available until after 4PM. We had to delay leaving town 4 hours, while we made arrangements for someone else to drop Katie off at Alyssa's apt. that afternoon. This was typical of 3 additional problems we had with Alyssa. I would not trust her with a pet again. I am not certain that, writing down and initialling every detail of what is expected and agreed. could insure success. When it was time for us to pick up our dog, Alyssa again was not available. Unfortunately, confusion, disappointment, and misunderstanding appeared to be the norm.
Chanel really enjoyed her stay. This was my first time doing this and Alyssa really made me feel at ease. She kept me updated with pictures and to insure everything was going great. I highly recommend her. She is a very sweet young lady and great with pets. Thanks again Alyssa ?
