I truly believe in communication!! I am responsible and reliable; I try to honestly put myself in the shoes of pet parents I watch for and apply my own experiences. The major thing I am hearing from pet parents about myself is they get a good feeling about me!! I am just also a creative person that likes to express themselves in as many ways possible. I have a lot of good experience and history with animals and a good background especially with animals on an all around scale! I grew up with animals my whole life - namely dogs but there are cats in our history as well. My parents and I had them growing up, my mom's sister, her parents - we all have dogs!! I can't imagine a time in my life where having the sweethearts did not help me get through tough times. I typically rescue as an adult, though. Treasured little gems that just await discovery. I base my rates upon my experience, the amount of time, care and everything else I do and am doing for you and your babies, the demand alone for my services and also think of the times we are in and gas for my car must be taken into consideration. I am pretty good at being able to compromise, though! (I do have a family member who has been a sitter for a very long time! 20+ years so I am proud of that support!) I know me, myself, I know how much love I have for animals and I think my knowledge and experience and teachings prove to make me well worth it!! Just to let you know more.... In the past I worked for a pet sitting company! I haven't worked for anyone since 2009 but am fully physically, emotionally, mentally capable. I am strong and have had to overcome a lot and look at my past not to dwell but to see just how far I have come! I am proud of my accomplishments!! I volunteered for a while at animal rescues and it was honestly some incredibly fulfilling work! I worked more closely with dogs and cats but when I lived in East Texas I did volunteer work at an equine rescue as well! Between 2015 and 2017 i took online courses and got certifications for pet sitting and other dog, cat and exotic animal online courses. I studied behavior, pet sitting, health, grooming, diet, first aid and more!! Some things I have the knowledge but not full hands on experience of being taught by someone else. I care so much for animals. Animals have been there for me my whole life honestly. I've had dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, rats and I've also cared for horses and some other farming animals and besides rats and rabbits also Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and mice. I am very dedicated and I pride myself on trying to go above and beyond. I am so passionate about animals and i have so much time to dedicate to your pets!!! I view every pet as a child of yours and if not a child then a very near and dear part of family. I treat them respectfully and try my best to give the best care possible. I try to be as flexible with my schedule as I can and i can be reached almost any time of day pretty much. (I do try to reserve sleep time!) What else to say? I've learned a lot in the online courses I took. They branched from general care and pet sitting to health issues and many other things. I am very passionate about animals. I love them so much. All kinds. I have so much respect for them and nature and I truly believe a lot can be learned from them. When I take Shira on her daily walks I just feel myself fill with joy inside at her happiness and her energy - it is truly just infectious (in a good way of course!!) If I don't know it - I WILL LEARN IT. I can teach myself to do anything, really, with time and patience and dedication! So I see every problem as a challenge to conquer! I am not afraid to ask questions or ask for help, either! I really just enjoy being with animals so much I have to say. I love the cuties so much! I do try to send photo updates! A lot of times pet parents prefer me to send directly, though! My usual day sees me taking care of the pets my significant other and I have as well as our house! I like to keep things clean so I am constantly trying to keep a clean house which means if I am house sitting for you - prepare to have cleaning done, too! While he works full time, having the time to be able to take care of Shira as well is extremely important to me!! I love to go on walks every day! I have a playful and fun demeanor and try to involve fur babies as much as I can!! Shira herself just LOVES the walks and I enjoy them so much because it makes me feel good inside and seeing her happy just tops the cake!!! Typically I can fit myself to you and your pets needs!! I am here for you!!! At home I take Shira on a lot of walks even though we have a fenced yard. She gets kenneled if we leave sometimes but I keep her out and about as much as possible and give so much love. She sleeps in bed with my long term boyfriend and I because I LOVE to cuddle and so does she (and her daddy!) She has an adaptil diffuser I keep plugged in in our home to help with her separation anxiety, it's been a great deal of help! Yes, I typically can handle high energy dogs as my Shira is high energy (I typically am, too!!) I understand traumatic pasts of sweet little fur babies as well and I truly believe in patience, dedication, perseverance and not giving up (while still respecting their space and not pushing them past their comfort zone!!!) When I get the trust of a sweet fur baby who has had a traumatic past it moves me so deeply (I do cry a lot from this!) and I am thoroughly grateful and appreciative!! I count myself as blessed when a sweet fur baby chooses to open him or herself up to me. It is a beautiful thing and I never forget it! In your home I am prepared to do whatever you need to keep your fur babies schedule regular and to give you peace of mind!! Whether that be cleaning, bringing in mail, watering plants, etc I try to go above and beyond and do it!!! Shira has access to water all day and she is fed regularly and has zyrtec every morning due to allergies as well as her monthly heartworm and flea/tick and 8 in 1 multivitamin that she loves! They help with her hips and she enjoys them so much more than Cosequin! I try to keep the environment clean and happy and friendly - try to keep it as stress free as possible for the fur babies! I can do what needs to be done in your home if I am there! This is what I do, day in and day out! I would need to be able to take care of my Shira, our rats, myself and our home as well with my boyfriend, any appointments that might come up, emergencies as well. Boyfriend Matt works full time Monday through Friday so while I'm caring for your pets, my girl Shira is home waiting on me to be back to care for her. Please also keep in mind I care for some pets on a regular basis when it comes to booking! My time is valuable! I am very busy and do not text while driving nor do I conduct my business on my phone while I am caring for pets on visits or walks but once I am done with my work or not driving I respond as quickly as possible (unless I am sleeping!) I REQUIRE MEET AND GREETS WITH ANY NEW CLIENT AHEAD OF TIME! Please, keep this in mind! I am mostly in Sachse, Wylie and in my neighborhood with my weekly clients. While my service radius states 8 miles I do try to keep myself more localized due to just how much driving takes up my energy and time. It becomes extremely difficult to keep my schedule and life balanced if I'm having to be on one side of town and then the very opposite other side. It's very strenuous! I do my best to accommodate but please keep this in mind! I appreciate as much flexibility that you can offer on times as well - I do my best to accommodate requests but do keep in mind I am working 7 days a week and I do have some clients I regularly see! If I can schedule shuffle, I will do my best to do that but there are times I just cannot! Demand for my services and time is extremely high! Please be patient if I do not immediately respond! I love to clean so that is actually something I try to do when I am staying overnight in your home! I like to keep an animal's schedule going regularly which means whatever your babies need, I will do my best to do! In my home I keep Shira fed, give her water daily, go on walks (if I can fit them in for her anymore) and she gets her zyrtec, vitamins and treats!!!
