Hello! I started Rover in April of 2021 after moving back from college to earn some extra dough. I pet sat for about 6 months before getting my first full time job! Because my new job required quite a bit of travel, I decided to take a pause on Rover. A few months later, I am back on Rover ready to make some extra $$ again! I still traveling quite a bit with the same job, however when I am not traveling I am working from home in which case I could work remotely while watching your pups!

Alyssa did a great job watching our 3 crazy pups! One of our dogs decided to be dramatic minutes before we left, and Alyssa was great at staying in touch with us about how our pup was doing in the midst of all the drama. It was such a relief knowing she was there taking excellent care of our babies. We will definitely have Alyssa stay with our pups again on our next vacation!

Information Alyssa P. would like to know about your pet
First and foremost your dog must be good with other dogs! My dog’s are very good with dogs of all ages and sizes. Please let me know if your dog is food aggressive, likes to guard, protective, etc. I would also like to know the extent of which your dog is potty trained, medications that they may need to take, if they need to be crated (we can work out if I have the correct size or if you will need to supply your own) and of course it’s always fun to learn more about their personality! (Fears, favorite toy, likes to cuddle, etc.)
A typical day
I have a large fenced in backyard meaning your dog can play off-leash! My dog is great with other dogs, so our dogs can tire each other out if you have a high energy dog. We can also go for walks (if it’s not too cold lol) or car rides. I try to stick to your dog’s typical schedule as much as possible!

Availability
As stated above, I work remotely which means I can be home with your doggos 8-5 during the week. I usually take my dog for about a mile walk around 2pm and if it works out, I can bring yours too! Depending on personal plans, I’ll be open about how long I may need to leave pets alone. I try my best to not leave dogs more than 4 hours home alone. Like I said, I travel for work so I will try to keep my schedule up to date as much as possible!
