I always knew I was meant to work with animals. After shadowing vets as early on as middle school, I started volunteering at a labradoodle breeder at 15. I later worked at a boarder and groomer, then PetSmart as an animal care specialist. During this time also volunteering at big cat sanctuary ties, and interning at AZA accredited zoos. After graduating with an Animal Science degree in December of 2017, I am now a zookeeper apprentice and have been actively working in the animal care industry for almost 10 years. I also minored in Art and Design and do animal portraits as a way to bring all of my passions together! I love every aspect of animal care, and find no deed too small or insignificant!
