Hello, I'm Alyssa! I cannot wait to spend some quality time with your dog. I have always loved dogs and been a dog lover. I teach violin and piano lessons. My son and I are ready to meet your pups and have fun! Home full time, I will be able to provide your dog with the care and attention he deserves while staying with me. Take a look at my photos to check out my apartment home to see where your dog would be spending his doggy vacation. My home, near Faith Lutheran School, is small but cozy and my son and I are excited to spend time with your dogs. The price listed is for a 24 hour stay for a dog weighing up to 44 lbs. It would be $38 for a dog weighing 45-94 lbs. and $43 for a dog weighing more than 95 lbs. Having undergone advanced screening, I have been met face-to-face and my home has been inspected. I can't wait to hear from you and and meet you and your dog(s)! Why I love dog sitting I love big dogs like Great Danes. I have known several friends that have had them over the years and I just adore them. My grandmother has dogs and I have often dog sat. I feel I can give the type of personal attention and affection that no kennel can. About my yard I don't have a yard since I live in an apartment, but there are plenty of places to walk around my complex. My experience administering medication I am comfortable giving oral and inject able medications.

Alyssa was great watching my usually somewhat anxious dog, Mona! She was very flexible with drop off and pick up hours which was great when my car unexpectedly broke down. She was more than willing to wait up for me and when I picked up Mona she was excited to see me but was comfortable and had seemed to get along well with Alyssa and her son. I also appreciated the photos that Alyssa sent of my girl during her stay. I highly recommend Alyssa as a flexible, accommodating and caring dog-sitter!
Jasper had a great time with Alyssa and her young son. She even dropped Jasper off at our house!
We were visiting Legoland over the holiday weekend and Alyssa was coveniently nearby to watch our old poodle, Max. Alyssa was so sweet with him and even put an extra blanket on his bed. Max was so comfy, he didn't want to leave with us. Would definitely recommend Alyssa.
Unfortunately, the stay with Alyssa didn't go as hoped for any of us, me, her or my dogs. Alyssa lives in a small, cramped, cluttered apartment and leaves throughout the day to give music lessons. She isn't home full time as she has noted. She was my 5th choice because of the apartment and that she didn't have any pets. The other sitters I was interested in weren't available and I had no friends in town to watch them since it was over Labor Day weekend. So my choices were limited. My advice, listen to your gut, when you look for a sitter. If its not a situation your animals are used to, it probably won't be a good fit. My dogs are used to having more space and having access to the outside when need be and my house is 'puppy proofed' until Bear is no longer a puppy. She wanted me to pay for carpet cleaning and a scratch on the front door and got very mean and obnoxious when it didn't go as she hoped. Because I voiced both of those concerns at the initial meeting I didn't feel responsible and she assured me it was fine, well it wasn't fine. AND I should have known better.

Time I'll spend with your dog I am home full-time and I teach piano and violin from my home so your pup would get round the clock care! I like the dogs to be able to roam free in my home and are welcome to sleep in bed with me :)
