Dogs have been the joys of my life! I'm originally from San Francisco, went to school in Seattle, and have lived in a number of places since. With my current work schedule, it wouldn't be responsible for me to adopt my own pup, so in the meantime I hope to get my dose of dog time with Rover. Professionally, I work in wildlife biology. I'm passionate about all animals! During the week, I work in the conservation field for seabirds up in the mountains. During the weekends, I want to hang out with pups and sweet kitties! I've been a sitter/walker with rover off and on for almost 3 years and also worked at a professional pet sitting/dog daycare in Portland. I've had experience caring for dogs of all sizes and would love to get to know their special quirks! I truly enjoy the time I get to spend with pets and I'm so fond of the memories I've made with each one I've met over the years petsitting. I've cared for past roommate's dogs, senior dogs, pets with special needs, and they've all become part of my family. Nothing makes me smile more than a happy dog or purring cat! I'm currently only available weekends and Friday nights. I'm available for dog walks and drop in visits, as well as overnight house sits. My schedule often changes due to work so if you're unsure, just send me a message. Yup, I'm flexible and can help out with any pet (fish feeding, chickens, etc) - chat with me about what you may need while you're away. I know how tough being away from your pet can be.
