Hello! ☺️ My names Alyssa and I’ve had different types of pets all throughout my life ranging from bunnies, guinea pigs, and hamsters to cats, ferrets, and dogs! I have always had a passion and love for animals and I would love to help you out with your furry friend and take care of them as if they were my own! I have a range of experience with boarding, grooming, walking, vet visits, and drop in visits. I've boarded old to young, aggressive to non-aggressive, and small to really large! Mainly dogs, but I'll watch any animal you need. I’m able to give you my references upon request. I hope you choose me when choosing someone to help take care of your best friend! I have a fenced yard that your pet can run around in. If they enjoy walks, I walk every day around my neighborhood and can assure it’s a safe and friendly community.

Communication wasn't great at first and had us very worried due to the limited reviews available and then a review that was posted while our dog was staying. Alyssa did a great job with our dog and taking him on walks. After the communication issue was cleared up, photo updates and regular text updates put our minds at ease. The fenced in back yard was a huge bonus for our dog as he loved to run around
Alyssa and her partner were very polite and friendly but it wasn’t a good match for me. She wasn’t home during our agreed upon drop off time and was hard to get ahold of whenever I would text to check in on my dog. Normally I get picture and text updates without having to ask, and I’ve learned that I need to select future sitters who can reliably provide updates and responses when I reach out. When I picked up my dog I noticed a sizeable scab healing right above his eye. Even if she missed what happened when he got hurt, it would have been nice to be told he got hurt at some point. She may have not noticed the scab at all because of how many pets were staying at her house at the same time. Not a great experience for me so I won’t be booking again.
I was temporarily relocated out of the country for about 8 months, and was unable to take my dog with me. My dog is also pretty high-strung, and isn't the easiest to care for at times (high energy, not a fan of most people, etc). I'm so fortunate that I found Alyssa to take care of my dog while I was away - she treated him like her own dog, including taking him to vet visits when needed and taking him on fun outings to a nearby lake, etc. Since I've been back in the area, Alyssa is my go-to for dog sitting. My dog is always so happy to see her!! I never have to worry about my dog when he's with Alyssa - which is a great relief. I can't recommend her enough!!

I let them take over my living room basically, and have their own space. If needed, I have a XXL crate for sleep at night. One very small dog I boarded had slight anxiety so he hungout in the crate and felt safer, he even had room to run around and set up his bed and food, I did not lock him in, he just preferred being away from the other dog.

I don’t have any breed preferences, I’m open to all breeds! I would just like to know if your dog is aggressive towards other animals, if so I can accommodate with that and have them separated while here, if there’s any other animals at the time. If your dog can’t be around any other animals we can figure out arrangements for that as well.
A typical day
We will go on walks around my block or, if allowed, go to the dog park and find some trails! We will play catch, frisbee, & tug of war! I have a good sized fenced, mostly private, yard they can run around in as well.

Availability
I run a small business from home every day of the week so I have plenty of extra time and attention to give. My schedule is completely made by me so I can work with anything! Maybe left alone once or twice a week for 4 hours max.
