Pet care experience
I have worked with both public and private rescues as a rescuer, a walker, and a foster. I adore animals and have an unbridled love for dogs. I have a dog-friendly office with a ton of young workers and bring the dogs I sit to my office every weekday so that they aren't alone and don't bother my cats. When at work we go on frequent walks in nearby Madison Square Park. Because I'm somewhat neurotic, I don't leave dogs alone in my apartment. Either me or i’ll be home or they will be out with me. I would treat your dog like royalty--quite frankly I prefer them to people. I am so happy to be able to offer my love for pups, it's just a plus that I could get paid for it, genuinely.

Alyssa and Edward took such good care of my pup, Autumn. Autumn came back looking well-rested and like she had gone to the spa. haha. Could really tell she was pampered and truly loved. Can't recommend the two enough!
Alyssa is the epitome of a responsible pet owner/lover; she's an experienced volunteer and pours her heart into each and every animal that she interacts with, staying with one particular dog from the day he arrived at her volunteer location up until- and even after- his adoption. Her dedication to treating animals with the respect, care, and attention they deserve is unprecedented. Even animals that are not her own are very clearly held near and dear to her heart. I've seen Alyssa nurse a sickly gerbil back to health after rescuing it from a dangerous environment, invest deep and genuine care for every dog and feral cat she so much as crosses paths with, and care for a sickly, elderly dog with the tender love and care as if he was her own. Her heart is surpassed only by her competence and responsibility, and it's very obvious to anyone who knows Alyssa how much she loves animals and is able to provide exemplary care for them.

I'd like to know that they are cat friendly, and by friendly I mean they are interested but not pushy or trying to play with them incessantly, as that freaks any cat out. They also should be well behaved enough to be in an office with other dogs and not get snitty.
A typical day
We'll walk at Madison Square Park, and there's a nice walk between my apartment and the subway in Queens. WE'll also go to Maria Hernandez park in Bushwick. I like to give dogs what I call puppy massages--I love to do deep tissue work on them and a little bit of reiki. Lots of lovings! No table food but I do occasionally give human food in the bowl that's good for their coat and digestive system (coconut oil, canned pumpkin).
