Pet care experience
For 3 years I worked as a nanny for a family who hired me not only to care for their baby but to help with their dog breeding business. I have helped deliver puppies and have learned to take care of dogs in every stage of life, from new born to adult! I have also had dogs all my life and 2 years ago finally got my own dog but had to leave him home in MA to go back to school, he is my best friend and I would love to show that same love to other animals when people need it! I just graduated college from the University of Rhode Island, and just arrived in Charleston SC with my partner. I currently am taking a year off before applying to medical school so have plenty of time on my hands to care for any and every animal! I am super flexible and can adapt to any animals specific care needs. I am happy to provide great references that I spent a full year with in Rhode Island!

Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I am more than willing to have animals roam freely throughout my apartment and/or walk them to open areas where they can have more freedom and space. Pets can or cannot be allowed on furniture depending on the owners preference! Safety is my #1 priority no matter the service I’m asked to provide

The most important information that needs to be shared with me before the dog is handed over to me is if they have any allergies, any spots they are sensitive on their body, if they are friendly with other dogs/people, what type of exercise the respond to the best, if I am able to give them treats, and if they would like me to practice any specific training methods that the owners have been working on.
A typical day
I love to go on runs and walks, being new to the area I would love to explore and find some great state parks and trails that are great for high energy dogs! I am also open to any mental stimulation that an owner has for their dog, or for me to create some new stimulation! I frequently play fetch or other yard games with the dogs I watch as well.

I am currently on the job hunt so besides looking for jobs in my down time the pets will be my top priority! My weekly routine will revolve around my Rover bookings.
