Hi! I'm Alyssa and I am a recent UW graduate. I spent a year as a veterinary assistant before college, so I am very comfortable around all kinds of animals and have the proper training to make sure they are safe, happy, and healthy! I currently care for 2 budgies and a Springer mix in my apartment downtown, but I have raised and cared for two dogs (Border Collie and English Springer Spaniel) as well as 3 cats while growing up. I truly do have a passion for caring for animals and love making sure that they are having as great of a time as I am, and I look forward to meeting yours as well! With my extended amount of experience you can be absolutely certain that your dog will be well cared for and in great hands! Alyssa did an amazing job taking care of my new dog. He’s a rescue who is very afraid of people; he needs a lot of time to develop trust. Alyssa was incredibly patient with him, and in a remarkably short period of time, he went from running away from her to cuddling with her : )
Alyssa was great with Indi! She sent photos/updates everyday, and Indi seemed to really enjoy her time with Alyssa. She was very responsive and accommodating to our drop off/pick up times.
I picked up a very happy dog from Alyssa’s care. He had a great time! Alyssa was wonderful- she not only took great care of our pup, but she sent us lots of pics and was very understanding of our schedule change. Our dog will definitely be going back to stay with Alyssa again.

I have an unfenced yard near walking trails where I can take your dog for a walk. I aim for 3 long walks/day as well as many potty breaks are additionally needed! At your home, I will aim to stick to your routine when tending to your pet.

A typical day
Your precious pup and I will go for walks away from downtown life on the lovely lakeshore path towards picnic point! A nice walking trail for the both of us! At parks nearby or even at home in my backyard, I have dog toys that will entertain the most playful dogs. And if they are on the more calm side, belly rubs,lots of pets, and snuggles on a nice sunny day in my backyard are sure to leave your pet extra happy and at ease in my care!

I work full-time remotely, so I will have time to tend to your dogs needs at all times no matter the circumstances! Rest assured they will be monitored and played with to their hearts content!
