I love dogs. I grew up having dogs and I currently have a little dachshund. I've taken dog sitting jobs in the past for a week at a time staying in someone's home. I've also given dogs shots and other forms of medication. I'm very gentle and soft spoken towards animals because I like to build trust with an animal more than anything. Dog walking is my favorite because it's so relaxing and its really good for the dog also. I enjoy taking my dog as well as my boyfriends dog butterscotch for walks in parks, as well as dog parks to get a little extra exercise, which I would partake in with my new friend as well. I handle all of my dogs medical situations and have a fairly good understanding of medicines used, signs of stress your dog may be experiencing, and can handle emergency medical situations if they were to ever arise. My boyfriend Billy will be present in some occasions and is a passionate dog lover as I am. He and Butterscotch stay with me at my apartment from time to time so our dogs are constantly around each other and get along wonderful. My dog has a pretty set routine and in my care, I would ask the parent what their dogs normal routine is and stick to that as much as possible to help keep their dog comfortable and in his/her everyday routine. For my schedule, I work full time from 7:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday so I would be able to walk him/her before and after work, as well as anytime on the weekends. I believe that taking care of my own dog, constantly interacting with others dogs, having a good understanding of medical issues and proper precautions to help keep the pet safe and happy, and with the love and passion I have for my animals, I know I would be able to excel in helping others with their furry friends.
