*PLEASE NOTE* We are not able to accommodate last minute requests as it prevents us from ensuring the best experience for everyone (pupper included) involved! My husband and I have been dog sitting with Rover for over 2 years and have loved every minute of it!! Before joining the Rover community we both had experience dog sitting for friends and family and loving on dogs of our own. We do not currently own a dog as we just got married and don’t need any other major life changes at the moment ;) I grew up with the sweetest Saint Bernard buddy and have always had dogs in my life! I rescued my dream dog, an energetic chocolate lab, at the end of his life and you will see lots of pictures of him! My husbands favorite childhood memories are with his sweet dogs Morgan and Rory - he still talks about them all the time! He’s basically the dog whisperer and I have never met a dog that does not immediately love him. His big bearded self turns into a baby talking puddle at the site of any fur baby :) Between Chads love of playing outside, and my constant supply of cuddles, even the shyest of dogs will quickly warm up to us, and we can match the energy of even your most energetic pups!

Alyssa and Chad were absolutely fantastic with our sweet boy, Chance. We hadn't been on vacation in several years due to Chance not doing well at a boarding kennel on our last vacation. Finding Alyssa and Chad to give Chance the individual/calm environment he needed was everything to me. Picking him up from our vacation this time was a joyful reunion and the pictures of Chance during our time away was very comforting.
So thankful for Alyssa and Chad! They make the best team and took amazing care of our pups! Highly recommend!

Your doggo will enjoy our full attention as we do not host more than one family/dog at once. They will also enjoy a large fenced in backyard, walks, and a safe/quiet home. We are very flexible and will accommodate to your dog’s needs as far as sleeping, kennel time, gated areas, furniture rules etc.

Let us know what makes your dog MOST comfortable! And , of course, what rules are important to you. Is he/she allowed on furniture? If they are crate trained, how often do they need to be let out? What sleeping arrangement is best for him/her? Safety of others is important to us as well so if your dog is timid or not very comfortable around other pets and people , let us know so we can make sure everyone, pupper included, has a great experience! But above all, their favorite dog treat is absolute a necessity to know! :)
A typical day
We live in the best neighborhood for walking dogs!! Lots of sidewalks and friendly neighbors, your buddy is sure to make lots of new friends! But if your doggo prefers to stay around the house, playing fetch and tug of war in the back yard can entertain both of us for quite a while :)

With my work from home schedule and Chad getting home at a reasonable time every day, we are able to give each dog so much attention. We wake up early each day and and spend evenings relaxing at home and outside and always have our fur visitors by our side!
