Pet care experience
I had 2 husky-collie mixes growing up; very high energy for walks. I named them Crayons and Simba. I went to college and majored in Animal Science because animals (especially dogs) are the best. My best friend, now a vet, had a Corgi-German Shepherd mix, Gabby, that took a lot of training which I helped with often. After graduating I was in the Peace Corps for 2.5 years and had a small terrier mix named Treva. The farm I now work at has a retriever mix named Blue. I love dogs and I understand them well; haven't met one yet that I don't get along with. Alyssa is awesome with my young puppy with medical issues. She has lots of experience with all kinds of animals, especially high energy ones which my puppy is. Highly recommend!
Alyssa was great. If you have ever hired someone and didn't want to tell someone else for fear you would lose them to others, this is her. She is reliable, dependable, friendly yet unobtrusive, communicates well, and most of all our dog loved her!!! We highly recommend Alyssa and will be using her again if she is available.
My trainer had mentioned that my dogs would benefit from separate walks and Alyssa took to it immediately! Not only did she walk both dogs for 30 mins each but she was able to work with my younger, more fearful pup who had been unwilling to leave the property with other dog walkers. Relieved that we found Alyssa :)
Alyssa was wonderful, stepping in last minute when I had another sitter fall through. She was great with Trixie and with me being a nervous first time Rover user!

Nervous habits, general demeanor around other dogs/strange people/other animals. Sensitive areas (ex. certain breeds strongly dislike their paws touched). In general the bigger the better and I can definitely enjoy high energy, but really all dogs are awesome.
A typical day
Wherever the wind takes us (unless the owner says otherwise). Stick or ball chasing, sniffing interesting bushes, sitting in the sun and people watching.
