Pets have been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family always had dogs, cats, & parrots growing up. For the past 10 years, I have house and pet sit professionally, caring for dogs, cats, fish, parrots, chickens, and even mules. I have experience with and am comfortable with animals of various ages, including seniors. I can ensure I will put my heart and best efforts in when caring for yours.

Alyssa Heaviside is the best pet sitter we have ever had. We never have to worry even for a minute when we are out of town when she is pet sitting our four dogs, one cat and seven chickens! One of our elderly dogs is on daily medication and Aly makes sure this is taken care of for us. She is a true animal lover that we can count on each and every time. I will be thorough in following any instructions you leave for care, and I will make sure your dogs are taken out frequently for potty breaks and walks as needed. I have been enjoying taking dogs out for walks or even hikes, if they require additional exercise and time outside, on island. A typical day
I provide daily exercise and play time with your dogs, always working within their level of comfort. I can walk them in your neighborhood or potentially take them on trips to explore other places they are familiar with. Trail hiking just out of the city is also possible, and something your dogs and I can enjoy together. I can work with you with how much time you might need me to spend with your animals (for example, if I should stay with them throughout most of the day).

I am a caregiver part time, however my schedule is flexible which should allow me to fit you in. I'll manage my time and adjust to your pet's routines, and I follow instructions in detail and depth, ensuring your babies will be happy and comfortable in my care.
