Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets since I was a young kid. My childhood dog Angel is still alive and thriving at age 17 and has struggled with many health issues. I’m knowledgeable not only in routine animal care, but any extra care that is needed. I’m comfortable with types of pets and all I can promise is when they are in my care I will shower them with all the love they need.

Alyssa was wonderful! Communicated well, came and met our fur babies in person prior to watching to make sure everyone was comfortable, and took the best care of our animals. We will absolutely rehire her.
Alyssa was great with our dog and cat over a long weekend. Our dog tends to bark at people but loved Alyssa. She communicated well and we didn't worry about anything we were on vacation. I would recommend her!

It is so important to feel at ease when leaving a pet. I am a bit of a clean freak and like to have things in order. I always make sure I have every detail of care written down and laid out before you leave. I love pictures and love sending my clients updates of their pets while they are away. I want to do everything to make you feel comfortable but still connected to your best friend even if you aren’t there.

Please let me know if your pet has any specific meds they take regularly or treatments. Any triggers they may have and also their favorite treat and toy. Let me know if your pet prefers to be cuddled and handled or does better with space. It’s also important for me to know if they have any behaviors that are common due to medical issues so I can understand what is a regular day for them, and to know what to look out for.
A typical day
I love nature and spending time on walks outside with pets. Any place with trees, or flowers, an area exciting for lots of sniffs to stimulate dogs not only physically but mentally. Then a relaxing time at home with a lot of cuddles and a few treats.

Availability
I currently work mornings as a Barista. I’m usually out of work around 12pm at the latest. I’m also a freelance actor so I occasionally will have a night gig here and there but they are very easy to work around. I always have tons of free time during the day and night and am very flexible.
