Ever since I was five years old, I was thinking of animals when telling everybody I met that I wanted to be a veterinarian. Even though that dream has passed, there is hardly a day that goes by where I am not thinking about animals and how they are one of our greatest gifts we ought to cherish all the time, never to take for granted. I spent 3 years working for Pet Food Express and another three years at a vet hospital. I have been pet-sitting for over 11 years and am well-versed in what it takes to maintain a pet’s mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. I have a French-Bulldog Chihuahua mix of my own named Taquito. When with your pet, it is my promise to be fully present with them and provide any cuddles, walks, treats, playtime, and anything else they might need. I imagine how hard it must be for them to experience their family being away so I do all I can to give them company they will love. People have given feedback that their animals calm down in my presence and that they return home to a happy pet. They are thankful for my trustworthiness and that they can have peace of mind when their pet is in my care. I also have a generous lunch break so if you live close enough, I am happy to spend time with them in the middle of the day.
