I have been working in the pet care industry for about 15 years. I currently work in pet care full time. I consider it my true passion in life. I have dedicated my professional career to taking impeccable care of other people's pets. I have been working with many of the same clients for months, some even years. My goal is to provide an experience where you feel as safe and comfortable as possible leaving me with the very important responsibility of caring for your furbaby. I have a flexible schedule throughout the week and weekend. I currently reside in Montgomery County however I have reliable means of transportation to get to other areas. I am pet first aid certified. I spend my spare time taking care of my own animals and my collection of houseplants.

Alyssa was awesome! She kept me updated about Emmie the entire stay and was so sweet and attentive to her. When I picked Emmie up she was happy and tired. Will definitely be using her again!
Life savor last minute needed someone to let my dog out while we were at work and Jenny looked so happy in the picture. Second time using Alyssa and will definitely be using her again.
Alyssa was great! I was so nervous leaving Jenny alone during a 12 hour shift but Alyssa was so responsive to all of my texts and made me feel at ease. She sent pictures while stopping in to visit her which was so nice! Jenny looked so happy while she was there.
Alyssa was a great dog sitter to our Basset Loki. We were able to meet in advance to make sure it would be a good fit. Alyssa is very friendly and obviously a dog lover. My pup had a lot of fun at her house and I'm sure loved all the extra attention. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a dog sitter.

I ask for clear instructions from owners and make sure to repeat back my understanding of the instructions. I am very thorough and take the safety of animals very seriously.
Information Alyssa F. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know of any tendencies worth noting: i.e. chews on objects, doesn't like other dogs, shouldn't eat people food, doesn't go on the couch... etc. I need to be made explicitly aware of any rules that the owner has for their dog so that I may provide a consistent atmosphere.
A typical day
Depending on the dog's personality (and owner's preferences) I will do all sorts of activities with the dog including: going to a dog park for socializing, playing games/fetch, taking to pet stores for a gift/grooming, going on a leisurely walk through a neighborhood, going for a car ride (making sure to stop at the bank drive-thru for a treat)... I am essentially open to doing anything that the dog's owner thinks would be a good idea.

I am a very routine-oriented person. I have incorporated my own animal’s care needs into my daily life, every day. People who know me may say that I take better care of my animals than I do myself! I treat my clients like my own animals, putting their needs in the forefront of my mind. If necessary I will make checklists to ensure I am doing all that is expected.
