I have been dog walking and dog/house sitting for the past 5 years for my past professors. I enjoy walks and have experience with many different types of leashes and harnesses. I have one black lab and a house cat. I walk my black lab every day. She is an escape artist when it comes to harnesses and collars, so I have had to gather a dog a time or two when she has escaped. I joined Rover because I enjoy interacting with all dogs and would love to help out those who need it! I have owned at least one dog my entire life and think I pay more attention to dogs walking by than people sometimes because I find them to be incredible creatures.

This was my first time using rover, and I was hesitant to have someone in my home without me, but Alyssa and her husband were absolutely wonderful! They stayed at our house for 5 days with our 3 year old boxer dog Maggie. It gave us such peace of mind to know that our dog was able to stay in her own environment and be taken care of, while also having someone available to watch our house while we were away. Alyssa was extremely accommodating, and followed all instructions that we left her. She kept Maggie on her normal schedule, and was great about sending us pictures and updates. We were so grateful for the level of care that Maggie received, and so appreciative of Alyssa and Mark’s time and attention. We know that Maggie enjoyed spending time with them, and we definitely felt comfortable and confident having them in our home. We will absolutely be booking them again in the future!
Alyssa did an excellent job taking care of my Zoey at our home. She sent updates and pictures while we were away which was very reassuring. Alyssa is an A+ pet sitter. I would rebook her tomorrow if we needed help!
