Hello! I love dogs and caring for them does not feel like a job at all. I have my own little maltipoo who I rescued when moving to Los Angeles and he keeps me on my toes! I have owned dogs since I was a child and believe they are precious members of a family- and should be treated that way. I have experience walking, boarding and of course playing with dogs. I have also watched and cared for dogs with specific eating habits, regimens, and health needs-Even had to hand feed a dog once because he wouldn’t eat on his own! For your consideration, I will always clean up after myself and pets in your home. I am currently a licensed clinical social worker and therapist, and I see first hand the healing power animals. Alyssa LOVES dogs!!! Ever since she was little, dogs would always gravitate towards her and vice versa.. she is a very calm and reliable person.. I have 2 dogs, 1 who is on prescription food who requires a very strict schedule. When I went away for 8 days, I was completely at ease knowing that Alyssa was going to take care of my babies.. Anyone who entrusts their precious cargo with Alyssa is very lucky!

A typical day
I often take dogs on walks, hikes, runs on the beach and will go to the dog park if you are comfortable with this. My dogs keep me active and I enjoy that part of this work.

Availability
I currently work a full-time job as a social worker. I primarily assist with dog walks on my weekends, holidays and evenings! I also work from home and out of my office two times a week, which allows my schedule more flexibility for dog walks.
