About me: Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I am a 28 year old with a normal 9-5. I have recently accepted a new job which will be remote work, therefore I wanted to jump back into pet care as it’s something I really enjoyed doing in high school and college. I graduated from UCLA in 2018 with a Biology degree, with the initial intent of going to veterinarian school. During my time in school and prior, I had worked my way up from a kennel attendant to a Veterinary Technician at Calabasas Animal Clinic. I spent 4 years at the clinic, learning all I could about pet care and health. Although I ended up changing career paths and now work in entertainment, animals have remained a love of mine. I adore all types of animals, and have cared for many before, both in the pet's home, and mine as well! Why I love to be a pet sitter: I love animals, and have my entire life. Pet sitting is an enjoyable and extremely rewarding job, allowing me to give the utmost care to pets that’s are missing their family while simultaneously getting the benefits of having animals around. Why I am a good pet sitter: I am a reliable person, who works for you! You tell me what you need me to do and I can do that for you with open communication. I understand that these animals are your babies, and will always give them the best care. I am experienced in this field, and know how to properly care for animals, as well as know the warning signs of sick or injured pets. I am also proficient in administering medication and caring for pets with other needs. I am also very athletic, so if you have an athletic dog I am extremely willing to take them on walks, runs, or hikes! Also, if I am sitting in your home, I will always respect your house and make sure to keep it clean during my stay. You will come home happy and with a happy pet! Things you should know: I do have roommates, so I limit my pet boarding to availability and work schedules. However, still ask! Many times my roommates go out of town, which would open up room for more days for me to sit at my house. Other than that, I can sit at your home for as many days as needed.
