Pet care experience
I've been pet sitting and working with animals for 12 years. For a long period I owned my own business and then took time off of my own business to work at an emergency vet, dog daycare in a management setting, and pet stores. I have experience giving medications, fluids, and am very experienced in catching medical issues quickly. I have a four bedroom house on an acre and a half that is fully fenced. We live in a lovely neighborhood where going for walks or runs is very easy. My dogs are awesome with other dogs and they make a great playmate for dog friendly dogs. We do have an indoor cat so we ask your pet does well with cats too.

Alyssa was wonderful with my doodles, she made me feel comfortable and at ease while I was away for half the day. I loved the cute photos she sent. And I appreciate her patience with my doodle who is nervous. Thank you again for helping on such short notice, I will definitely use you again.
Alyssa was prompt, professional, and very dependable with my pack of 3 dogs. She took the time to come meet them and learn their routine, so that they were comfortable with her for the walk. The pictures she sent of their happiness put my mind and heart at ease while I was flying across the country. I highly recommend Alyssa, she will ensure that your four legged family is properly taken care of!
I am not one to leave a review, but Alyssa definitely warranted one. This was my 1st time using Rover and it could not of went better. Me and my family had trip planned and our sitter fell ill 2 days before, which left us scrambling to find a temporary home for our boys. I started looking at other boarding places, but all were booked being our request was on such a short notice. I clicked on an ad for Rover (not really knowing what it was) because we had this whole trip planned and payed for ( the hotel we were staying at did not accommodate dogs or else we would have brought them) and did not want to cancel our trip. I was fortunate enough to find Alyssa. She lived 5 min away from our house and had some pretty great reviews. She was able to take our 2 dogs on short notice and was a God send. Upon meeting her she was very welcoming. Her place was clean and ready for our boys. During the stay she would send pics of our boys and respond very quickly to our sent texts. If we ever need boarding services again she will DEFINITELY be our 1st pick.
Alyssa was very responsive and helpful throughout our dog’s whole stay. I really appreciated that she coordinated a meet up before the booking to see where the dogs would be staying and to make sure everyone got along. She sent pictures every day of the dogs having a great time playing in her yard. We will definitely keep her in mind for future stays.

How does your dog do around other dogs? Are they crate trained or house trained? Any behavior concerns? I've worked with all breeds and behavior concerns are fine! I just like to know more about them first.
A typical day
My pups love to run off leash on our acre and a half of land! They also enjoy lots of walks in the neighborhood and sniffaries/ visits to the neighbors to smell their horses, goats, emus, etc. We love getting to have fun experiences with the dogs in our care including swimming, playing outside, wrestling with toys, and going for lots of fun walks!

Availability
Pet care is my full time job! Our normal routine is getting up around 7am for breakfast and playtime then we spend time around lunch (12-2pm) playing in our yard (fetch, wrestle with other dogs, etc.) then we relax out of the heat until it's time for dinner and an evening playtime or walk. Pups sleep in a variety of setups depending on their preference but they're welcome to sleep with us if it's allowed!
