Pet care experience
During Covid, I spent my free time with my foster baby, Charlie! He’s the golden in my pictures. He’s happily back home with his dad now. I love all animals, and treasure my time with them all.

Alyssa is so fantastic! She responds in a timely manner and gives me full updates when taking my dog on a walk. My dog Bassie loves her so much and is always smiling big in all the photos. Alyssa has been very helpful and a puts my mind at ease while I am away from my dog.
Alyssa was wonderful. She had a quick response and was very prompt. She did wonderful with Nala Mae and I’ll definitely be using her again!
Alyssa has cared for our 2 Labrador retrievers on multiple occasions. She has walked and bathed and in general cared for them like her own. She is a true animal lover and I trust her with our fur babies without hesitation.

At my home I have a small fenced yard with grass. Currently I have no pets of my own, but when I did have dogs I walked them preferably in the afternoons and evenings when the weather allowed it. I have a large Ford Explorer where I can safely place your pet in the back if we feel like an adventure! I am a long-distance backpacker who just finished the John Muir Trail so occasionally I like to switch up my walk/runs with hiking trails. I have owned big dogs, small dogs, cats, lizards and snakes so I am well aware of the unique level of care that a variety of pets require. I’m excited to meet your pet!

I would like to know if your pet has any special needs, and I need to know if they are allowed near other animals. If your dog can’t be around other dogs, I need to know. I have cared for animals with diabetes and epilepsy, so I am well equipped to help your pet!
A typical day
I regularly walk the dogs that I watch twice a day. If I only have your pup for a couple hours then we will definitely be walking at some point. Sometimes, I like to do a big day activity like going to the beach, or going on a hike. On those days we might only do that one activity, but I promise you your pups will have a great time! In addition, if I get them dirty in the process i will offer a free bathe at the end of my time with them.

I am a full-time student working on my teaching credential so it’s sometimes hard for me to find time to exercise. Walking and caring for animals helps me to stay active and keeps me in a positive mindset!🌞
