Pet care experience
I began my experience by volunteering at shelters to care for dogs which became training them and later on becoming a California State recognized trainer for Un-Adoptable dogs. Those dogs (aggressive, traumatized, untrained Dogs getting returned or passed up) stayed with me to rehabilitate, train them, and get the adoptable again. I went to school for Veterinary medicine before joining the Army and have worked in vet clinics. I am knowledgeable with diabetes, paralysis, deaf, and blind animals. I generally am a very active person, always doing either runs, bike rides, or hikes everyday that I am happy to have extra 4 legs joining me. I am home all day, allowing maximum attention to our guest! I am more than happy to help with any basic training concerns you may have about your pup.

Elli had a great stay with Alyssa! She can be nervous in new environments (AND it was 4th of July weekend - so there were fireworks as well), but she came home happy as ever! We are so glad to have found a place where she feels comfortable when we are out of town.
Our pups had a great stay! Alyssa and her spouse took great care of them and sent us pictures letting us know they were comfortable and having fun. Alyssa accommodated for us last minute, was very easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future. Highly recommend!
Alyssa was great! She took my dog with very short notice, and kept her almost 12 hours when I had to work late. Very friendly and informative when it comes to dogs. My dog got to play with hers all day and have some snuggles on the couch too. Totally recommend!
This is the second time we have used Alyssa while we were on vacation. She is amazing. She truly cares for our pets. She takes great care of them and sends us pictures and stories about how they were doing and acting. We plan to continue to use Alyssa every time we go on vacation. I highly recommend her.

We have an acre fenced in for dogs to run it. It is a short fence so please let me know if your dog is a jump risk. I can set up a 100 ft aerial zip line for monitored outside time.

For all stays: I also need to know of things that may frighten or set off your dog as well as any behaviors that may need to be worked on and simply aware of. Dogs staying in my home must be okay with my dog and babies.
A typical day
Dogs can go on daily walks, runs, or bike rides according to their capabilities. With owner approval, trips to a dog park. Potty breaks are according to needs of individual dogs but a minimum of 4 are always offered.
