Hi! I’m Alyssa, I’m a junior in college on the veterinary medicine track, and I’d love to care for/walk your furry friends! I am a former boarding kennel manager of five years where I socialized, fed, administered medicine to (both oral and injected), and entertained dogs and cats of all breeds daily. I have one dog of my own who I hike with in my free time! Walks, both structured and sniffy, are our favorite! We both enjoy searching for new trails where we can work on all sorts of obedience and trick training. I balance both an active and couch potato lifestyle, so I can tailor to your pet’s needs! I have two dogs- one young and energetic, and the other almost 16, blind, and with multiple medical issues. Alyssa has been consistently great with both of them. She is experienced and confident in administering both eye drops and oral meds to my senior dog. She gives my younger dog ample opportunity to play and burn off energy during her visits. I feel completely at ease knowing Alyssa is checking on them while I am at work!
Alyssa did an amazing job watching our dog for the weekend!! She is reliable and responds quickly to messages! She did a great job and took such great care of our doggy. She also does drop ins and always updates us! We will be continuing to use Alyssa in the future!
Alyssa is great with my dogs! I contacted her for a last minute request and she was so flexible with setting something up. She used to be my go-to dog walker before I moved and she went away for school and she and my dogs were so excited to see each-other after some months apart!
Alyssa is truly a kind and genuine individual and you can tell just by meeting her and speaking with her that she really cares for animals. My dogs really like her and I feel so much more at ease knowing they are being checked on by someone who will really make sure they are okay. As a small dog owner, I’ve learned how to keep my pup safe during walks (I always carry pepper spray/mace). All of the pets I care for are hooked up to two separate spots on my leashes for safety! If your pet wears a harness & collar, both will be clipped. If they only wear a collar, I will use an additional lightweight slip lead as a barrier if your pet slips or breaks out of their collar

I always advocate for both physical and mental exercise when it comes to the dogs I care for.
