Pet care experience
I owned a beautiful golden doodle for 14 years and gained experience in dog training and care. I have dog sat for multiple neighbors and family friends for many years. I took care of a wide range of dogs, from elderly and unable to walk, to two Bernese Mountain dogs at once. I have experience with many dog breeds and sizes. My apartment complex does not allow dogs so I’m only available for in-house sitting. I graduated from Tulane with a degree in Public Health and Biology. While I am now a full-time grad student at GW, I would love to help you take care of your dog.

Alyssa is super responsible, and my wife and I felt very comfortable leaving our 1yr+ year old dog with her! She scheduled a meet & greet beforehand so we could see her space and allow our dog to meet her. Alyssa was great about communicating and answering our questions, and providing updates while we were out of town. Would recommend her to anyone!
Alyssa took incredible care of our dog while we were out of town. This was our first time being without her and Alyssa made it easy to relax and know she was in good hands. Alyssa was flexible and understanding to our needs and schedule and we will absolutely be using her services again in the future!
Alyssa did a great job watching our dog! She had us over for a meet and greet so our dog could get acquainted with her home before we went on vacation. While we were away, she kept us updated with daily photos. We could see our dog was well cared for. She seemed very happy and comfortable at Alyssa's home, which kept our minds at ease so we could enjoy our vacation.
Alyssa did a wonderful job taking care of Lily! We were gone for several days and Alyssa communicated with us daily letting us know how Lily was doing. We felt comfortable knowing that Lily was well taken care of. We look forward to using Alyssa again when we need someone to watch Lily!

I vary my care depending on the dogs’ personality. I’m open to them sleeping anywhere they want, including my bed. I’ll take your dog out at least 4 times a day and they won’t be left alone for more than 9 hours during the week or 3 on the weekends.

Before dog sitting, I would like to know if your dog has any special needs, how often it needs to be let out, and anything else you'd like to tell me. My roommate doesn't like large dogs, so unfortunately that is my only restriction.
A typical day
I’m new to the area so would love to walk around and explore with your dog! There are also lots of dog lovers in my are, so opportunities for playing.

Availability
I’m currently in school full-time and am out of the house from 7:30-5:30 each day. If I sit during the week your dog would have to be okay being alone for a while. I have very flexible weekend availability, however!
