I am dedicating my life to animals through school and work. I have worked in small animal veterinary practice and I have worked extensively with cats, dogs, pocket pets, reptiles, and amphibians, and birds. There is NO animal I will not work with. I have a guinea pig of my own right now and a wonderful shepherd mix rescue but I have had experience with all of the above stated animals. I am looking forward to meeting you and hearing about your fur babies! Please contact me with any questions you may have. I have open availability on holidays for overnight pet care and for long term pet care with daily walks/potty breaks and other care. I have been trained and have experience with small animals with medical needs. (Daily medications, fluids, injections, and insulin treatments.)

Alyssa is a sweet and caring person. She forms a specialized bond to every animal she meets. Caring for animals comes natural to her and she loves it. My dogs and cat are always excited to see her.
Alyssa is wonderful! My dog Igor is so happy when he sees her. She's patient and understanding with him (he can be a bit difficult at times) while we are gone. Alyssa is our go to doggy nanny ?
Alyssa has done a spectacular job caring for my home and many animals. On multiple, long trips out of town she has cared for my 2 big and energetic pups, walking them several times a day and loving on them in my absence. She also cared for my coop full of chickens and made sure everything was taken care. She’s honest, reliable and trustworthy.

A typical day
I like to learn what their routine is and go to all the best spots around the house that owners are comfortable with, including walking parks, dog parks, and dog pools. I have experience in dog behaviors and I know how to safely manage outdoor off leash situations.

Availability
I work part time and work mainly evenings and weekends, I am available during lunch and midday hours to do a visit between 9-2 and I can stay over for home visits as needed.
