Pet care experience
I have lived and loved my pets my whole life. I have experience helping to care for dogs (medium-large size), cats, birds, bearded dragons, fish, rats, etc. I have loved all animals since I was born, I even spent much of my infancy/toddlerhood with a Great Dane 8 times my size. I am a reliable, responsible graduate school student, who has extensive experience caring for animals and children as well, since I have been babysitting since I was 14. Having grown up with animals all my life, I understand the importance of having a reliable, compassionate caregiver in our furbaby’s lives when our lives as owners gets busy. I just want to hangout with your fur baby and be their best friend while their main best friend is gone!

Alyssa is amazing with dogs. She is caring and patient. She genuinely loves dogs and loves to play with and spend time with them. She is always taking care of my dog for me when I’m away with no question. She takes them for several walks a day.
Alyssa is great a dog sitter, while on vacation she fed and walked my chihuahua and German shorthair twice a day for a week. I highly recommend her.

I would like to know their general temperament, what kind of things do they like and not like? Favorite toys? Are they potty trained and what is their “potty signal”? Etc. Do they have any allergies? Feeding schedule?
A typical day
I have a large neighborhood with many playgrounds, open space, and a fenced dog park that is a walking distance away, so doing walks there would be paradise for any pup! I also would love to play fetch and many other games with them.

Availability
I work full time as a physical therapist in St. Charles, so can care for your pet before/after work and on weekends! I have two dogs of my own so I do not currently offer boarding, or overnight stays, due to having to care for my own. But I still do house sitting and can stay for extended periods on the weekends.
