I want to be a dog sitter/walker because I have always had dogs (labs) around me and in my life until recently. I miss the companionship and seeing their happy slobbering faces rush to the door when I walk in. I babysat a family down here for a year (last year) and took care of their labor doodle as well. She was a very sweet dog and we bonded over time. Every day I would get there and I would let her outside or take her for a walk. When she was comfortable, she would come lay on my lap while we waited for the kids to get off the bus. I enjoyed playing with her and included her in all of our outdoor activities. Since I can't have my own pet right now, I want to help people with their pets. I have raised two puppies on my own in the past. The lab I still have, but she lives with my mother up north where I am from. If you hire me to walk and care for your pets, I willl treat them with the same love and respect I would my own animal! I am also not currently working, and will start only part time in the next month. It would bring joy to my life right now as I am at the end of graduate school and waiting for my provisional license to practice speech therapy. I am a very loyal and caring person who loves all people, but especially animals.
