I wish there were more stars I could give to accurately represent how fantastic she is! She went out of her way to accommodate a last minute boarding on Thanksgiving, picked her up, and only went uphill from there with repeatedly amazing pictures and extra details to make sure my pup had the best stay!
Alyssa was amazing with Marley. She has a gentle attitude but dogs listen and respect her. She has her home set up so Marley had access to the fun outside yard as well as inside the home. She is very caring and patient and Marley loved her. The updates and pictures were great to receive so I knew that he was doing well having fun. I highly recommend Roxanne's services.
Alyssa is amazing!! We left our two dogs with her last minute for a few days. To say my dogs are princesses is an understatement. Alyssa took awesome care of them and posted lots of pictures. Lots of updates and the dogs loved their time with her!! I can’t thank her enough!! We will definitely be back!!

🐕 Social Adventures: If your dog loves social atmospheres, we participate in local dog-friendly events. Your dog might even accompany us to our next outing! (Please make sure we have a copy of their health records cuz some places require proof of vaccinations to be included). 🍽 Safe Feeding: We provide separate and safe feeding areas for each dog to ensure no food goes missing or causes unnecessary conflicts over meals. 🍲 Special Feeding Care: If your dog is hesitant to eat, we'll sit on the floor to keep them company and, if needed, even hand-feed them. We've seen success with this approach in the past! 🏡 Safe Spaces: We offer extra "dog houses" (crates) for dogs who prefer their own safe space, as well as a spare bedroom for those who may be overwhelmed by new dogs or a new environment. We will assess each situation to determine the needs of your precious pup. 🏥 Special Care / Vet Access: We are happy to accommodate any special needs your dog may have whether it is medication, special dietary needs, or even food aggression… we got you covered and have plenty of experience to ensure top-notch care for your fur baby! Additionally, with an out-of-state family member who is an experienced veterinarian, rest assured that if a health issue or medical emergency arises, we can call a vet at any hour of the day or night! 👑 Royal Treatment: Your dog will be treated like royalty and spoiled with love and attention. - Are they up-to-date on all vaccinations? (If possible, I would like a copy of their current records in case we take them on an adventure that requires proof of vaccinations!) - Are they trained off leash? Do they like to go hiking? - Are they friendly with other dogs / cats? - What are the rules at your house? Are they allowed in the couch/bed? Do they get human food? - Are they crated when you are away? Or are they trustworthy to let them free roam in the house? - Have they ever been aggressive towards other animals, kids or humans? - What are some of their favorite things? Do they have a favorite snack/treat? Or any allergies I should be aware of? - Is there anything I should be aware of that that strongly dislike? (i.e. thunder, fireworks, the vacuum, baths, swimming, etc.) ? Packing Tips: - Bring plenty of the food you feed your dog(s) - Treats / snacks - Dog bed / blanket - Coat/boots if they get cold when they go outside - Leash, collar, rabies tag - Toys (we will try our best to make sure another dog doesn’t chew up their toy(s) but there is always a chance it could get extra love while it is here. We have plenty of toys for everyone to play with if they aren’t attached to a specific toy. They are welcome to play with our toys!)
A typical day
During your dogs stay, they will be loved as if they are OUR pets and part of OUR family. Depending on how many guest dogs we have, we like to incorporate our fur friends into dog-friendly events we go to. We will ensure your dog gets the appropriate amount of exercise/stimulation depending on their needs, personality, breed & age. You can request your dog get light grooming during their stay to include brushing, deshedding, bath, blow dry. Feel free to reach out with questions!

🏡 The Haven: Our cozy home is your dog's perfect vacation destination. Your furry friend will have access to a secure, fully fenced yard, a doggie door for those "I need to go outside NOW" moments, and a spacious and lovingly designed indoor environment for lounging and playing. Don’t worry, if your dog has never used a doggie door, we can show them the ropes. We have had success with even the most timid dogs! 🐾 What Sets Us Apart: 📸 Live Daily Updates: We keep you connected with your pup through daily Instagram updates (@lyssuhh_loves_animals), complete with a personalized highlight reel dedicated to your fur baby’s stay. When you book future visits with us, we will add to your existing highlight to document their experience. You will have many great quality photos when your dog stays with us! 🛌 Endless Cuddles: Your dog will enjoy endless cuddles on the couch and bed, and we're more than happy to tuck them in with blankets if they like that extra coziness. 📷 Photos and Playtime: Your dog will be our star with lots of photos and plenty of playtime. Our fully fenced yard is perfect for zoomies, and we're always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war!
