When your dog stays with us, they are a member of our family and we take the time to make them feel comfortable with our pack. We regularly dog sit for our friends and family and all three of our pups are comfortable with new dogs. We like to schedule a meet and greet ahead of time and make sure everyone is comfortable, and that you have a chance to check out our home. If your dog has a specific routine they're accustomed to, just let us know so that their stay is as stress free as possible! I work three hours a day, early in the morning and am home again before my husband leaves for work. So your dog is never unsupervised.

My one-year-old doodle pup had a wonderful time with Alyson, Garth and their dog family! The environment is warm and welcoming, with great supervision and a relaxed, dog-friendly feel. The fenced in yard made for some great outdoor play with no worries.
I’ve never met a dog person who was as great at communicating with dogs as they are with their owners. All of our dogs have special needs and it’s pretty tough to leave them in the hands of a sitter. Alyson listens and treats every dog to their specific needs. I’ve never seen someone simultaneously command respect from a dog while at the same time staying playful and keeping them entertained. Alyson is true blue! Thanks for everything. :)
Alyson is an experienced and deeply empathetic dog owner. She’s had them all her life, so she’s experienced. However, she’s aware that every dog has unique needs and is always up to date with the newest studies and diets. She’s active in online pet communities which keeps her in touch with the newest findings concerning the well being of our best friends. I completely trust her with our energetic golden pup, our spazzy heeler and our sensitive stomach’d French papillon!
Alyson is a wonderful dog walker. She treats her dogs better than most people treat their family. I know that my dogs are safe with her and will be taken care of appropriately because she truly cares about their wellbeing. If you need someone to take care of your dog whether it's for walks or other things she's the best!

If you choose to leave your dog with me for the day, I do live on the river, so if you’re ok with it, we do swim and play fetch when it’s nice out. While indoors, we have a large living/kitchen area where we can play, relax, nap. Dogs are allowed on couches, and the daybed.

A typical day
During summer months we swim a lot, take walks, or run around the backyard. I like to freeze treats in kongs the night before to help cool everyone off, so let me know if there’s any food you don’t want your pup to have.

Availability
I work part time. Husband works fulltime. Between the two of us, we spend lots of time at home with our dogs. Our dogs are our children, and we don’t like to leave for any long period of time. And we travel, so we know how hard it is to find a safe/comfortable place for all our dogs to stay. We hope after meeting us, you feel good about trusting us with your pup.
