Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Alyson and I formerly ran Thirty Paws Pet Sitting in Colorado Springs, CO for almost 3 years and then Dirty Paws Pet Sitting in Clarksville, TN for 2 years before moving to FL. Prior to that, I worked as a vet tech for 2 years and also managed a corporate dog daycare/boarding facility as well. I have always had a love of animals and have volunteered and fostered with several rescues. I have experience with puppies/kittens from birth until dogs and cats as old as 24 years old! I have two dogs of my own, Duke (neutered retriever mix) and Lucy (spayed heeler mix) and three human kids, Abel (6), Cayson (3) and Luca (2 months). My kids have grown up around pets and know to respect boundaries, but they are amazing ball throwers for pups that enjoy fetch! We live in a single family home, with a 6ft privacy fenced in yard.

Alyson is truly wonderful. I trust her a million percent with my dogs. They absolutely loved her. She always communicated and sent pictures and updates of how they were doing each day she had them. It is obvious she gives lots of love and attention to each dog in her care. She’s the best hands down.
Alyson is a great dog sitter. Her experience as a vet tech makes her very diligent on your pets health. I always get nervous leaving my senior bulldog but she made sure she had all the care she needed. I also love that she takes so many pictures and gives many updates. She really cares for animals and it shows in her tentative care! I would recommend Alyson 100% for all your dog sitting needs!
Alyson is the most amazing dog sitter and boarder! Our dog absolutely loves going to her house and gets along with all the dogs and family so well. Alyson’s home is truly his second family and treated as such! Thank you Alyson for once again going above and beyond as we welcomed our first child into the world.

I have a fenced in yard for a more secure environment. We feed all dogs separately in our home and kennel all pups when unsupervised for their safety. ***I cannot offer walks for large, high energy breeds at this time due to often having my newborn with me.***

I'd like to know about any aggressive tendencies (barrier aggression, food aggression, leash aggression, etc) as well as any medical conditions in advance to better prepare. I do not have breed preferences, we love dogs of all shapes and sizes! ***My two dogs have more dominant personalities, especially as they're getting older. They are not aggressive and are definitely dog friendly, but they do ask that other pups respect their boundaries and give them space at times. If your dog tends to challenge others or is an adult that hasn't been socialized before and is overly excited about new friends, then my crew may not be the best fit at this time.***
A typical day
As they're getting older, my personal pups aren't always up for wrestling, but we play a lot of fetch and Frisbee when outdoors and sometimes set up the kiddie pool on hot days. When weather doesn't allow for much outdoor time, we have all kinds of toys (stuffed, kongs, bones, etc.) to entertain pups throughout the day when snuggles aren't enough :)
