Hey I’m Alysha, a college student in Rapid City looking for a job around my class schedule. I have a chihuahua named Nova who’s 2 years old. I have many years of experience taking care of animals especially dogs and cats as my dad and mom have had them my whole life. I have taken care of dogs as small as 1.6 pounds and as big as 80 pounds. Also I have experience taking care of dogs from age 3 months to age 14 and cats from age 1 to 12. I have administered medications and cared for dogs after surgery before. I would love to watch your pets and I am available Monday-Sunday. Alysha did a great job with our 90 lb. golden retriever. He can be “needy” when we are away and she handled that well. She also kept the bird feeders full and the house tidy. I will definitely contact her again when we are out of town.???
Alysha is a dog owner of a hyper and cuddly chihuahua. She cares for her dog dearly, taking her out on walks regularly, and spending time together. She has had dog and cat experience in life, with taking care of family pets. Alysha is a loving and responsible pet owner, and would be a great fit for pet sitting.

I am comfortable with all dogs. If the dog owner has any tips to make the dog more comfortable with a new person that would be great. I think I’d do well though I have experience dealing with aggressive dogs and dogs with ptsd so I’m pretty aware of the signs to watch out for. I would need to just know the basics like how much food to feed them and when, if i can give them treats, etc. I have a dog of my own(which I wouldn’t bring them with unless it was okay with the dog owner) and have taken care of many other animals before so anything new that the dog owner thinks I should be aware of would be good to know.
A typical day
Depending on the pet owner’s preference I could bring the dogs to the park or around the neighborhood. If your dog is able to go off leash then the dog park would be fun because a lot of dogs go there.
