I started volunteering in an animal shelter when I was 13 years old in the cat area I then had my first job working with a shelter caring for cats and dogs My responsibilities were walking feeding bathing cleaning their cages and socialization training I also did help with the adoption process I did leave the shelter to pursue a career as A preschool teacher After my girls were born during this time I have since then owned and cared for both cats dogs fish hermit crabs frogs and salamanders I pet sit regularly for my neighbor as well as people in my neighborhood family and friends I have watched many different types of breeds of dogs such as Chihuahuas ,mixed breeds and Rottweilers just to name a few I am the proud mama five fur babies three of which are dogs and two are cats plus we have two gill babies I love to take dogs for walks as well as pet sit during the day I would love to get to know you and your fur baby and help with any care needs that you may have I would be happy to walk or pet sit during weekdays Monday through Friday 7:20-8:20am and 9:30am - 1:30 pm feel free to contact me so that we can set up a meet and greet Your pets health and well-being is my first priority that is why I would love to have a meeting greet to get to know your fur baby their routines likes and dislikes. I also have extensive knowledge on caring for dogs and cats. with my own dogs and cats we have a fenced in yard and pet friendly plants I make my own food for them to make sure they have all the nutrition they need as well as provide them with supplements and make sure that they go for their yearly check up I also provide them with many socialization enrichment as I can by walking them three times a day and taking them to parks I also make sure that I play with them and provide them with plenty of energy releasing activities such as running in the backyard playing fetch tug-of-war etc. in my eyes my animals are my babies I treat them just as they were my children I give them love respect and comfort I also have experience from being in the shelter and with my own dogs with dogs that are skittish or tentative I know many of them mannerisms and behaviors of dogs to be able to facilitate a healthy happy bond
