Pet care experience
I have always been obsessed with dogs and got my first family pet, a cocker spaniel, when I was 9 years old and I have cared for her ever since including attending dog training and agility classes at a young age. At the age of 20 I become a dog handler and trainer, I am currently still employed in this role and am in the process of completing a canine behaviour degree. I have experience with most breeds but am particularly familiar with Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Pointers, Labs, Spaniels and I have a great deal of experience with puppies. I have also volunteered in a GSD rescue. I am very happy to spend a day cuddling with your pup indoors or heading out for long walks and play time.

A typical day
General exercise going on walks to allow your dog to sniff around playing ball games in the park is great fun. I also believe that mental stimulation is particularly important for every dog, I love to create puzzles and games that enrich a dog’s mind and also cuddles and sitting in the garden is the best!

Alys can watch in your home
Availability
I work Monday- Friday but do have capacity to WFH on Mondays and Fridays and can take breaks within the day to go on walks. My availability also includes weekends. Tuesday-Thursday I am mainly located in Suffolk and can do overnight stays/ evening walks theses days. Friday-Monday I am usually located in Staffordshire and can do walks any time of day within that area and am happy to travel further afield for overnight stays or day sits.
